Does Pelican reply to "technical" emails?

I love Pelican, great service.

I did post a question to them a week ago on their "contact us" part of the website, directed to the technical department. No reply yet. Should I give it more time, or call?

Some sites really don't reply to emails...

Any input?

Simple question (I thought they might have info from the manufacturer)...

I bought an external oil pressure guage for a 930, that mounts permanently next to the oil pressure sender block...

For some reason, with the car off, it doesn't return to "0" bar, but rather only drops down to "0.5" bar... Has pretty much done this since new.

Is this normal? Is it broken? Is it reading 0.5 bar high? At first I thought it didn't go to zero due to some residual pressure in the block when the car shuts down.

I took off a cam line to bleed any pressure, still reads 0.5 bar at rest...

Ok, or not ok? I really don't want to have to remove it....

Oil pressure gauge reading 0.5Bar at rest?

The mechanical gauge is NFG or the needle has moved or never was indexed on it's shaft.
It probably isn't accurate at any reading if it doesn't return to zero.

Call customer service and return/exchange it.

There is zero oil pressure after the motor is turned off.

I asked their Technical dept. regarding removal of plastic tips that are attached
to the heater controls, & got help very quickly.
