Great visit at Brumos today

Picked up my 3 1/2 year old early today and had some time to kill before I picked up my wife. We decided to run up to Brumos, the "Porsche Store" as my son Ben calls it. This is the first year he really knows about Brumos Porsche.
They have the '09 Daytona winning 58 car inside the showroom. Ben was told he could climb inside and take a seat. I was nervous...he was not. I was so happy to get some pics and a quick cell video. He had a blast although it will take a few years before he really realizes how cool it was. Ran into Don Leatherwood on my way out and we ran over to the old race shop so he could give me a couple "59" stickers. Ben was walking around the '92 Supercup champion car like he owned it. I think the words "Don't touch!" came out of my mouth a thousand times today. It was fun...

It is easy to tell that is a real smile. Most kids just grimace when you ask them to smile for the camera.

I live 5 minutes from their DP shop. I've been wondering if I can just stop in one day, or if they are a little more secretive.

I would suspect they are a little more guarded. Not sure... The original race shop in Jax is a great place. Lots to look at if your lucky enough to get a tour of the private museum. Not sure if they even do that anymore after Bob Snodgrass passed away.

Yes, my little buddy WAS truly happy in those pics. I'm biased, but he does have a great smile! I've got the cell phone video of our little vist i'm trying to upload now. I'll post it if I can....
