new project--'77 911S targa

so on to another project--this one is a '77 911S targa out of California, came non op, with a terrible red interior and a mess of wires under the dash. shipper guys were really good in helping get it into garage bouncing the front end to go straight (no keys and steering locked). this will be fun. in the 3 days it has been here-the interior is out, the carpet removed and the front brakes removed. Lots more to do.

Will this be a true to stock restoration or a monster rod?

i'm going with stock---it may get an upgrade to a 3.0 depending on the procured engine condition. ( i got a 2.7 out of Oregon that has run in 4-5 years and its condition is supposed to be ok, but...?)
so what are the stock size wheels?
i was planning on 16x6 and 7 if they fit and will do good size tires (205 and 225)
