Bridgestone Tires.
Has anybody used Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole position tires. I am thinking about useing this tire because it fits my tire size 205/60/15. 1976 Porsche 911S. Any reply would be great. Thanks.

I ran them on my BMW 528 a few years back. They were nice for that heavy old sedan, comfortable riding, quiet, good in the wet. But they weren't very responsive which was fine on the 528 since it's a stock suspension daily driver. I'm sure they'd be OK on the '76 but they won't be as fun to drive as some other summer only tires on the market. Sidewall is pretty soft. But I'd give them a try if handling isn't the primary objective.

A few folks here have them and seem to like them as an all around street tire, rated highly by Tire Rack in their tests.
BTW a 195/65x15 tire is closer to the original size for your car (but you knew that) it is also available in the RE960AS Bridgestone. David |

I have a set on my SC. They are street tires for sure, comparable to a pilot exalto.
