Porsche Crest Bringing the Black back!!!!!!

Hello there

What do people use on the 'smile' and so forth on the exterior of the car to keep it looking cared for?
I got great advice on here for the interior (not Armor All!!!!!!!) so I thought I'd come back and ask for more advice........

Thanks in advance!!!

Neil

I use 303 aerospace protectant on all rubber and vinyl, in-cabin and out. It protects and gives a non- glossy finish.

Gummi Pflege on all rubber, Vinylex on the Targa Top, & Mothers Back to Black on the painted Targa Bar. Great results and they all hold up extremely well. Oh, and I use 3M silicon paste on the Targa Top seals to keep them squeek free.

Meguiar's Leather Conditioner (for seats)

I use it on all the black parts, including the external parts such as the big rubber bumpers.

I've been doing this for years with great results.

an old restorers trick on plastic parts, black or colored, is vasoline. Coat it on very thick, let it sit for a day or to, wipe clean. will stay shiny for a looong time. The plastic absorbs the oils in the petroleum jelly, restoring it to like new.
