Orginal '72 911 script/grills
 

I have been through the archives and found most of the answers regarding the scripts of the '72:

1. "911x" script is a dark grey anodized finish;
2. "P O R S C H E" script is same as above

Is the deck grill and fresh air grill (below the windscreen) the same color grey anodize or should it be black anodized?

Also, could anyone post a picture of a correct rear deck with the proper scripts and grill?

I am looking for a shop here in San Diego to do the work; if anyone has a suggestion please let me know!

Hi Kurt, Both deck grill and fresh air grill were dark grey anodized as well.

Hi Kurt, I'm a computer illiterate. Don't have a digital camera, probably couldn't figure out how to post a pic if I had one. What I could do is snail mail you a snapshot of my car (it's never been repainted) that shows the rear lid. E mail me your snail mail address & it'll go out of here Monday. Best, Paul
