Well guys, have been busy of late taking vacation overseas and getting my bosses yacht out of the shipyard.
But the as the title says, the ragtop had to go! The temptation to upgrade and improve coupled with a spate of bad luck on the maintainance side made me decide to opt. for a more reliable/practical fun car!. A 2002 Golf Turbo GTI. Does not get the same looks or comments as the 911 but cold A/C and 4 yr/50,000 mile warranty for $21K. - So Juan, I did get my Turbo after all!. I will check in form time to time and have promised myself to own an SC when back in the UK in a 3-4 yrs time and when I have more time to tinker with it!. Enjoy your rides and this board!. Rgds Ben

Thanks Adam,
I know I will miss the old girl, but the hobby side of it started to turn into an ordeal time and moneywise!. I still love the 911 and would never put anyone off buying one but they should seriously consider if they are buying for the right reasons!. This is a personal thing of course. I do not currently have the time to tinker and wait for spares as my time off is precious and sporadic. When I have a lot more time on my hands I still intend to purchase another and using the knowledge I have gained from you guys plus trial and error, I am sure my next experience will be longer lasting. I will check in on you guys and help where I can, rgds Ben
