Axle Shaft Question.
I have taken the axle shafts out of my 1976 911S to go thought them and replace some bad boots. My question is? Witch end do the gaskets go on. When I took them apart there was know gasket. If there is a gasket why isn't there two of them. Thanks.

Each axle has 4 seals on. there is a seal between the rubber and the CV and between the CV and the flange. The seals keep the grease from flying out.
