BBS wheel fitment question

I have just purchased these Huge 16" BBS 3 piece wheels for a 930. The rears are 11.5 inches wide. 6" outers and 5.5" inners. the back spacing measures 5 inches. apparently they were run on a 930 previously but I don't know if the fenders were rolled or not. Being 16", I'm aware of being limited to running Hoosier TD's in a 275 which I know would be stretching a bit. Will these rub? and will the car look like a low rider sticking outside the fender well?

I think the 5" backspace is for a standard SC - Carrera. Might have been on a converted body. The true turbos and widebodies have wider rear control arms and so take a deeper backspace. I have 11" BBS with a 4.5" backspace and they fit great. The 11.5" with a 5" backspace would fit the same as mine only be a .5" wider to the inside. There is plenty of room on mine to use a 5" backspace.
Did you also get some 9" fronts. Someone mentioned in another thread that you can still get perelli P zero in a 335 35 15. That might be a bit wide however.

If they don't work out for you due to backspace let me know....

I'm not concerned about the 5.5" back space(don't need the turbo spacer) being too deep as I have a set of 15 inch wheels that have 6 inch back space(includes the 1 inch turbo spacer) and they fit. the concern is the outer rim half sticking out too far. Yes, the fronts are 9 inch, no issues. These wheels are for track use, intend to use an R compound track tire so street tires are out of the equation. By the way, those 15 inch rears had 345's on them!
