Acid damage- checked yours lately? / Body shop in Birmingham AL

I attach some pics below of my findings this morning of battery acid damage .

I bought the car in Dec 09 having had a PPI done and knowing that this day would come......

The car came with great records which told that the battery tray had been replaced in June 1995, so I knew that there would be a repair, and the guys at Eurasian who did the PPI confirmed this damage although it was not as visible as it is now.

As you can see from the pics below, it is not good having the consistency of dried out water damaged cardboard although the surrounding area toward the drivers side front torsion bar post is solid by tapping and using a thumb to push as hard as I can getting no deflection.

This took 15 years to manifest itself....and inside the trunk is solid..

I have been recommended Watkins Autobody in Birmingham Al, is there anyone else I should consider taking my baby to for the repair for competitive pricing? I know it's all subjective until the extent of damaged material is identified.
