How to run new fuel and return lines?

Should I run these in the tube? Will the lines fit safely in the tube with shifter?

Thanks

New lines should fit just fine. There is a large "tube" on the left side that keeps the fuel lines out of the center of the tunnel. I couldn't find replacement factory or aftermarket lines and ended up using steel brake lines.

Brake lines seem a littler small? I was told to try 3/8" hard line that is flexible like brake line.

If memory serves me, the main line is 8mm and the return line is 6mm. Brake lines come in both 5/16 and 3/8. I think the 5/16 is close to 7mm, but you could mic them to be exact. We used 5/16 for the return line. We converted a T to an S and the T had no return line. Email me if you want more details.
