SW stereo, two thumbs up!
Just worth mentioning, I decided to take out my Sony after market beat up stereo and go with a orig. equip. type replacement. I know the orig. Blaupunkt cassette was not worth a s--t but wanted the orig. look. I called SW stereo and spoke to the owner directly, he spent almost 30 min. on what was available and any tech. information I needed. I did go with the orig. replacement for the Reno that my vehicle was purchased with when new. The purchase was a Blaupunkt Dearborn, brand new in box for $189.00. Plus new knobs for my wife's 2002 Boxster. Just great service to add to our list like our host and 911 chips.

I Second That Motion
I had a great experience there also. I asked Scott about entering a radio code for my Reno SQR 46. He spent his own time and also called Blaupunkt and found out the Reno 46 was an aftermarket upgrade radio that did not use a code. The original radio as installed by Porsche in 1989 was a Reno 2 that did use a code.
He did all this for nothing. We need to support businesses like his. |
