Mishap: Drilled exhaust stud too far

Has anyone had the experience of drilling too far into the head while trying to extract a broken exhaust stud? If so, what are the options for fixing the issue? 1979 911sc 3.0

I will post a picture on Saturday. Won’t be able to before that. I didn’t hit anything, but put a small hole through the head

Sounds like you may have drilled into the fins and if so, should not represent a problem

Upon further inspection you are 100% correct! Thank you! I just needed some more light on the subject to see what was going on up there 🤦*♂️
