Momo Retro Steering Wheel

Does anyone have a Momo Retro Steering wheel installed or have any pictures of one installed?

Impressions?

The Momo Retro is a great looking steering wheel.
How does it feel/perform compared to the other aftermarket steering wheels that are made for comfort/perfomance, like the other Momo's?

That photo above is mine, the Retro is one of the best improvements I've made to my car. Of all the great things the designers did to the cars over the years I feel that the stock steering wheel was one of the worst, there's no excuse for putting a triangular cross-sectioned wheel on a race car and then positioning it almost AGAINST the dashboard.
That said, the Retro feels really good. I added the 1.5in anodized hub extender and the new wheel sits in nearly the perfect position.

That's just how I describe the grip section of the wheel. YMMV.

Yes, I know the backside of the wheel has curvature....
Maybe a "D" cross-section would be more accurate.
Either way, the stock wheel sucks d0ng, it's really one of the few absolutes in this universe.

Tailwinds - where did you source it and how did you fit the Porsche horn button (and where did you get that too?).

Ebay for the wheel and horn button. Yikes, looks like prices have gone up on these in the past year...

MOMO PORSCHE Horn Button : eBay Motors (item 350323579593 end time Apr-01-10 09:50:57 PDT)

Pelican has the hub and extender...

Porsche Crest

I love this wheel--my stock wheel had a home-rewrap but still looked ratty.

I got mine on Ebay also--both the wheel and the horn button. The price of the horn button is outrageous, but I couldn't imagine having the Momo button installed in the car. I like the look and feel of the wheel in the car--its a bit harder to turn at low speeds, but no real worries.

Also really easy to swap out. Took less than an hour to get it done, including soldering the wires together.

Did you park your car in your office? Wow!

Lol! Usually people ask if it's parked in the living room....
I can't figure out why, it's my garage. All the standard garage junk is behind the doors in a proper shop.
