Carrera power seats to install onto 964 body

I have a pair of very clean late carrera sport seats 4 ways with 8 prongs plug that needs to be fitted onto a 964. The 964's plug looks to have 14 prongs. Anyone have any idea on how to retrofit them with an adapter or do I just have to splice and hack the cables?
TIA
ST

I did searches here and in the 964/993 forum but did not find any specific instructions for your problem.

It appears you will need to splice in the wires/connectors. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thank you OH HAHA for trying, I did a search too and I couldnt find it either. I figure this should have been attempted by many since the seats are so familiar and by the wide variety of seating configurations throughout the years but I guess splicing it is.
Cheers

You should try posting over on Rennlist(I think you have to join to post). It's worth a shot before you start cutting.

Good luck and please post the results when you do get the install completed. That way, the next guy will have a head start. Pics would be a bonus.
