Big Hat.....No Cattle
Howdy Chaps,
So this rolls into PWR's parking lot fresh from the West Coast. Got the look, what with exceptional 60's Rat Fink "Orange Krate" paint job, cross drilled, big reds and complete 993TT interior - even good fair line gaps. ![]() But lifting the decklid reveals the real DNA within....net hp likely becomes negative after a/c and air pump extract their toll. ![]() Last edited by Peter Guldan; 01-21-2010 at 07:48 AM.. |

Howdy John,
Yessir, that oft used term came to mind but was passed over, because even sheep still have cajones - albeit connected to a timid herbivore - but when you ain't got no cattle....... |

Howdy Chaps,
Close that lid? …probably with a wink and a chuckle as this bloke does before heading off to stun the unsuspecting with his SleeperT. At any rate, on a more complimentary note, as I’m fortunate to be able to view an ample passing parade of machinery from the sublime to the, uh ….less so, this one represents a lot of work to fulfill a reasonably honest mantra of “it is what it is”. Very unlike the cover car for VW Porsche World of the early eighties if any Porschesaurs here remember it – The Screaming Yellow Zonker – which after years of lusting, I had (what I thought up to that moment) was the good fortune to be standing over it at a B grade used car lot conveniently right here in my home town in 87ish with quivering check book in hand. A peak under that foo foo doll’s skirt was even more alarming than disappointing. ![]() |

The first car is a perfect example of what I call a Carol Doda car..

This is an amazing photograph. You managed to sync the vibration of the engine to the camera, so it looks like the engine is static and the rest of the car is vibrating. Brilliant!

Now in 993 land ...
|
That's just wrong. That said, how much more work is it to get a hot-rodded 3.6 in there? Was that the plan and the PO ran out of $ and time? I'd buy this as a roller, if it wasn't likely a 76 ...

...motor'n with moxie
Howdy Playa,
Drive'n it juuuuust like that contentedly....along with his pal who followed me to the gym one day asking where he could get some misc seat parts for his ebay sourced 5 blade CIS 2.7 litre wide bodied slant that looks like it could chew up 935's for breakfast and spit em out like seeds. Chip? Haven't lifted the cover on an LJetronic ECU in 30 years since a leaking battery devoured mine on a 914 but reckon a Doritto'd fit in there.
