Ha!

I lowered the lift to get a good pic of the '58. It is 6ft clearance when fully lifted.

VERY nice!

Are you around Seattle someplace?? The whole pic looks very northwesty, I only say so as I live in the north end of Seattle.

VERY nice makeover.

I've been going back & forth myself about purchasing a lift, and my garage is also a narrow one (although quite long). Can you provide any layout drawings of the garage that shows the location of the lift feet & posts, along with the clearances?

Thanks,

-Dan

I'll get some measurements and pictures this week. It is tight side-to-side, and front-to-back, but functional. I did raise the roof to to get the clearance I wanted.

I went with double bulb 8ft fluorescent hardwired with switch on each wall (sans door, of course). I also have the 200w lights the come on when the door opens.

The trick is to mount them in the proper place. Take you height, add 6". This will give you good directional working light, but you won't smack into them as you move around.
