Stoopid turn signals!!!!!!!-need a bit of help

Yes, like I tell others, I have searched and read the wiring diagrams until my eyes crossed.

This all started when I noticed I had no front marker lights. All other lights worked fine.

As of last night I had only high beams. Today, I have gotten things together where I have all 3 headlight functions back(low.high.flash to pass) the "euro" parking feature works as well. I can rule out the stalk being bad based on these known.

All rear marker lights work. Hazard switch activates all required lights so I know the flasher behind the dash is good. I know this works without switched power so it doesn't really help.

Still have no front marker lights and turn signals do not function. I have checked all fuses and they are fine.

The only aftermarket item I have is an amp and in-dash stereo. They have not been affected.

What am I missing?

bad ground(s) at fixture housing or terminal?

dirty / corroded fuse block?

bad or corroded wire entering or exiting the fuse block?

Took a long break to get away from the car.

I now have my front marker lights back. Loose connections in headlight bucket wiring.

Still need to get the turn signals working, though.

Ha!!!

I found my problem with the turn signals.

Aftermarket alarm system installer strikes again.

The wires coming from the ignition switch were not the same color end to end.

Plugged in the ONE WIRE I had been avoiding as I thought it was extra and they work.

that's good news. You've had that dilemma for awhile now, haven't you?

Actually it just occurred. I replaced my headlight switch last year after my original one finally failed completely. I automatically thought that was where the problem began.

I was planning to take the car to work Friday. I hadn't driven it in the dark so I did a walk-around and found I had no front marker lights and then the fun began.

Man, I hate electrical issues.

It turned out to be a good thing, though. I now know how my car was wired for the alarm. I plan to remove the unused wires in the future(rainy day).

Unless the alarm sistem has been installed by you, think abot removing it or you'll rest on foot one day or another without any advice. It happened to me six months after I had my SC

woland-
I've already removed all of the contacts, other bits and what I thought were all of the wires at the ignition and headlight switch.

One day I will go through the wiring and remove them and rewire.
