Do 944 interior parts fit 911's?
I was looking into a track car (potentially) and I see that mid to late 80's 944's have similar interiors to my 87 911......
I am looking for a burgundy steering wheel and fornt (drivers) seat, and saw a couple of 944'w with burgundy interiors with low miles whose interiors look identical to mine. Any thoughts? Neil

I don't think the steering wheel for a 944 is compatible with a 911 - even though they look the same.
Just recently bought a wheel for an 86 944 on e-bay for my 84 911. The bolt that holds the 944 wheel in place is a 24 mm. The one for the 911 is a 27mm. The 944 receiver for the splined shaft in the wheel is smaller than the 911's - or at least it was in the wheel I bought. Ken
