Great Story on Ebay, but are we talking about the same car?
The history of the Carrera 2.7 RS's seem's pretty accurate, 210HP, 150 MPH, <6 sec 0-60 times, etc. etc. Great stuff!
But does that have anything to do with the car listed?  Judging by the 6500 RPM tach, it looks like the car is a standard US issue 1974 Carrera with 175 HP, 144 MPH top speed and a 7.5 second 0-60 time.I guess it all depends on what the buyer ultimately ends up paying for it. Caveat emptor
