1969 911 Ball Park figure
A 69' 911 for 10K! Okay, even if the low blue book it is at least 21K. I have not contacted the owner but the pics look good. If it runs good, what would be a decent price? I have a daily driver (86 944 n/a) that is sweet, willing to trade it for a running 69/ 911.

Depends on how original....also if it has any history. Certainly worth 10K.

Are you good at body work?/ As in SEE the car in person, and check for rust, etc. The usual apply, compression check, systems check, etc. The early cars are of course prone to have corrosion issues. Buyer beware. If it's distant, send a refundable deposit, (maybe leave some $ as non refundable for the sellers time) and have a good PPI done. That way you lock into the deal, but have an out.

hello AK944
I talked to the owner of the car and it is a 69 911 with a fiberglass body kit to make it look like a 930 or RSR. the car has a 2.7 ltr that is not in the car and was told it leaked really bad. the tranny is a 915 as well from the same car he says. the motor numbers say its from a 77 911s. This is not a running car and will need a bit of work to be a driver, as far as 69 value that was lost with all the hacking that was done to the car. the car has a short hood and and all updates done to make it look newer. i would think if you wanted a 911 you could do much better for yourself. if you do buy it i have several motors from 2.2 to 3.0 that you could put in the car. but if you are serious about a car i know of two 911s right here in anchorage that are nice cars forsale. one a 1976 911S with all updates case savers tensioners etc and a total of 77K miles for around 9K and the car is an Oregon car with no rust. the other is a 78 SC roller with no motor not sure on price the other is a 1972E with mech injection been sitting for 10 years in a hanger! but clean price not yet determined. if you p.m. you can stop by the warehouse or my garage and check out all the 911 projects i have going on and help you find your first 911 if you like. and i can give you some phone numbers of possible sellers, cheers ed
