Intro: Interior Upgrade

Hi all...know ya'll like pictures and such so here goes my interior upgrade. This is my daily driver. For me that means a 140 mile round trip 5 times a month on highway or Texas farm to market back roads. So the purist won't like some of these upgrades but it's what works for me.

Picture of the back stripped out with rammat and ensolite installed. Rough fit of rollbar. I have appbiz carpet set order from our host set to arrive in the next week. Lot more to get done before I'm ready for it though.

Front interior stripped. Almost ready for carpet.

Look what Gary Stratton left for me when I got home from work.

Another angle of the ducktail along with some wool direct from Scotland for the seats and door panels.

Here's a seat with the skins torn off. My upholstery man and I spoke for a good while and we've decided to enlarge the bolsters, hoping to give it more of a sport seat look/feel.

Seat heater arrive. Over to the upholster last week of the month with a 4 day turn around...lot's left to do.

Another of the ducktail.

More to come....

Year, engine, mileage?
I'd like to see the interior once redone with new carpet and seats re-upholstered.
Your original carpet, seats, etc seems to be Cashmere/champagne. Will the new one be black?

It started out life as a '76 911s, had steel rear flares added in 83 along with a 3.0L and was resprayed POR139 which from what I can tell is an IROC color. It runs well and doesn't burn oil outside of normal. It has however started dripping a bit and I'll be tracking that down before to long, just want the interior finished. I've replaced 90% of the seals and the front glass. I'm waiting on a haggart shifter, momo hub, RS door panels and carpet, and a few other goodies to arrive. Hopefully they'll be in soon. The seats will be in black leather with the plaid down the middle, below is a pic of the skin laying across the top of the car, it's big as in the pic it's folded in 1/2. Gotta have a/c for the daily driver and so I added it back in with new line, compressor, etc. Stays nice and cool, you can see the temp fix for last summer but I've proper vents on order.
