Jeez, a ground strap is a piece of metal with a terminal at either end. The ones you can buy at Pep Boys are as effective as the ones you can buy at the Ferrari store. They come in different lengths, and you can even--gasp!--fabricate one yourself. Porsche has no patent on steel.

I have read some where that a good upgrade is to add another ground strap from starter mount bolt to driver side trans. mount bolt. Sounds good to me but I don't understand why trans. mount on driver side instead of pass. side??
