2011 Twin Turbo...100 horsepower MORE and $20,000 LESS
Yes, a friend in Germany emailed. He has connections who work at Porsche...he assures me one should wait until the 2011 models come out because there are going to be some huge surprises, including dramatic price drops all across the line-up.
April fool...

Does this have anything to do with our newly found Porsche owner - VW? I heard they were going to do some price dropping for parts and cars.

Actually, the same friend said VW is coming out with an entry level sports car of it's own...a mix of VW and Porsche parts. It'll be named the Po-Vo.

Paul... good one.
Don't laugh. Porsche has to get their Corporate Average Fuel Economy waaay up from where it is now. That small Boxster is gonna happen and it will have the VW/Audi 2.0T. Shades of 914. Conversely, Porsche IS going to build the 918 if enough would-be customers show interest. [yes, really] I suppose we have to consider that it is an econo-exotic and a CGT will probably run circles around it while the 918 driver yells "BUT I'm greeeen". [Great looking car tho.] JR |
