Quarter Window Seal Question
 

Can anyone let me know for sure when Porsche went to the trimless quarter window seals? I know the '89 and later model cars have trimless windshield and rear window seals, but I'm not certain about the quarter windows.

Did the trimless seals go away in '89 as well, or was it in '95 on the 993 series cars?

I don't believe that the factory went to a trimless quarter window seal until the 993.

1989 "K" series cars still had the metal trim in the quarter window seals, although the seal was changed to a different 964 style seal, even on the 3.2 cars, (part numbers 964.543.035 and .036) after coupe serial number KS120509.
