Cool car. What size/year is your engine?

Dave, it was a 69T 2 litre, but it is now a 2.2E spec with webbers. It has the original case halves but 71 barrels and pistons. I'd like to hotrod the engine, but I'm quite happy for the time being with what I have now. Cool color, looks a lot like the new BMW M3 color, Laguna Seca Blue.
|
Okay,
The car is cool, BUT LOOK AT THAT GARAGE! Man what I wouldn't give for that space! Randy ------------------ Friends don't let friends drive RICE! 1978 911 SC |
Thats not a garage, its a warehouse!
Very nice colour! |
Thanks for the compliments guys. I should have taken a more panoramic view of the garage, it belongs to a very good friend of mine and I'm sharing space with a 993 and a 1500km Ferrari Testarossa!

Randy,
You had "scr" instead of "src"...also I think you need to use double quotes " instead of single quotes '. Even with those changes, your image is not found on the Pelican server though! Try again... Chris C. |
WOW, what a beatiful shop. Clean and brite. How did the scissor cart work ? I saw them in the Harbor Frieght Catalog here in the states.

Hi Guys, I'm really glad to get such good replies and photos. I'm hoping to complete my engine some time next week! (said that last week http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif )
Cary, the scissor cart is ideal if you have access to a hoist as I do, with two people working on it, I dropped my engine in just over 35 minutes. The beauty of the scissor cart is that you can wheel the engine out of the way as well as set an ideal work height. Chris, the bumper is actually a '74 RSR replica. Because it is mounted on a "long bonnet" car, it sits about 2" lower than it would have on it's native "Bellows bumper" car. The overall effect is a low and aggressive look...I really like it, but it does not suffer speed bumps or curbs very well http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif. I have an "S" replica bumper I'm painting up at the moment for street work and I'll save the RSR for the track! Mark, I can only DROOL at you engine my friend! More photos soon ------------------ John Forcier 69 911T |
John that is a nice colour and nice shop to work in. I have the same style bumper to put on my 77, how did you mount it?
Tom your engine is BEAUTIFUL I actually had it as wallpaper on my computer for the winter. Motivation for me http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif Shawn |
Mark,
What supercharger is that? Is it a kit? If so what was the cost and any issues with it? Randy ------------------ <A HREF="http://www.seraphimarts.com/save_flash.html '78" TARGET=_blank>http://www.seraphimarts.com/save_flash.html '78</A> 911 SC |
