heater box repair

I am converting my 83 sc to old school exhaust. I had a passenger side heater box from a previous car that was in great shape. So i bought a great stainless dual in single out muffler. Then i got my oil lines and exhaust gaskets. So now all i needed was a drivers side box. Nobody seemed to be selling just one. I finally found one from a source that will remain un-named. On the phone he tells me " the pipes are in good shape but the heater box itself is " rough". The $200 package arrives 1 month late and the primary pipes are fine, BUT!!! the heater shroud is completely absent. So, what i have is a naked header, unacceptable here in Buffalo. So to make a short story long, does any one know of way to just get a repair kit for this to bring it back to being a heat exchanger.
