engine
Thanks guys, so is this a good performance engine?
Regards Phil |
It's a good basis for building a good performance engine. It's only 180bhp. However they are dead reliable and when cared for have been known to run 1/4 million miles or more without a major overhaul. Yours is an early one with better heads than were on the later ones, if you do want to rebuild it for high performance. Take a look through the engine rebuilding forum if you want to get a better idea of what guys do with these engines from a performance standpoint. You can go mild on them or you can go wild.
