1976 Porsche 911 brake lights are stuck ON ??
Hello Pelican patrons. Yesterday I pulled my 1976 Porsche 911s out of the garage. After a winter nap I decided to go tear up the streets when I noticed my brake lights are stuck "on". I inspected the front drivers side relay in the wheel well under the rack and pinion steering and pulled the single wire connecting it and they were still stuck on. What else should I look for? Are there two relay sensors?

pull the carpet & board behind your peddle cluster & check the brake lite switch on your brake peddle....

yup it was the brake pedal switch. The switch had a tab break on one of the electrical terminals, a quick soder job and I was back tearing up the country side.

I had a similar problem with mine and repaired it a few times. After breaking a second time I broke down and bought a brand new one from our host.
