17" Boxster Wheels on 86 Carrera

May be a stupid question to some but...

Looking at a set of used 7x17 fronts and 9x17 rears from a boxster. 1st question, will these fits on an 86 Carrera, 2nd question, What type of wheel spacers should I anticipate using.

I've just done the contrary ; when i sold my 911 Carrera 86 ' wheels to a guy with a Boxter 2.5................the rear wheels were too large !!!

I said him but he was insisting to run as this.

But doing the reverse is easily , Boxter to 911 , possible with spacers.

The ET is different between a Boxter and a 911.
