Post Question about paint bubble/water

Hello all,
I have been working on the sheetmetal restoration of the nose on my 911 project. Last week I brush-painted on a reference coat of POR-15 on part of the nose. This afternoon I used a Dremel cutting wheel to slice some metal out of the area I had painted, after identifying an area needing a "graft." I noted that as the metal heated up from the wheel, the painted surface around the metal erupted in tiny blisters. Does this mean there was water contaminating the paint, or just normal for flash-heating the surface like that? I'm scared that my paint is no good- I was planning to shoot half the car with this supply in a few weeks.

Help!

Nope, that sounds normal. If it was water contaminated you would notice it as you were applying it.
