1972T Breather Hose Config help

I'm looking at a few of the cloth covered breather hoses on my 1972 T.

There are 2 hoses with the same diameter (about an inch inside) that run from the filter assembly.

One of these should go to the fitting on the breather cover.

One of these should go to the air cleaner.

Can someone please let me know which one goes to which.

thanks.

Ian

Both the hoses come from the oil tank vent system. The shorter of the two goes to the back/bottom connector of the plastic air filter. The longer one goes to the engine case vent.
