Hello,
I currently have a 66 911 that I was going to junk because I was just taking the engine and suspension for my 914, but I have had a change a heart and even though I have never had a "911 Experience" I can not bring myself to junk her so... I was wondering if I could: 1. make it into a long wheel base car ( I ahve heard of people shortening wheelbase for 911R reps.)? 2. Where to reinforce chasis for spirited driving with a 260Hp powerplant? 3. how to get better weight distribution because I am replacing the bumpers and QTR panels with RSR fiberglass and the germans out weights in the front bumper to even her out, so any recommendations?? 4. What classes would I fall into with a 66 RSR with 2.7 260hp engine and suspesion, brake and chasis mods.?? Thanks For Input, Ron Dailey

260hp! That will surely be a rocket! Heh, I would leave it SWB and have fun.

Look in the current Excellence for the article on the 911R. Better power to weight than the 996 turbo.
