After finding my speedo cable was broken, I learned the PO had epoxied the cable connector to the tranny. I removed the cable connector and epoxy from the tranny. What is missing here???

you will need another end cover. i do happen to have one. early cable drive trans only.
that happens when the tech forgets to disconnect the cable from the trans when the engine and trans is removed.

So what parts are missing so I dont have to drop the tranny to replace the end cover? I would like to piece the connection back and seal it for now if possible.
