New Pelican Introduction
Hi all, since I never bothered to make an introduction before bombarding the list with questions, I figured no time like the present.
I'm in metro Detroit MI, I've been an audi guy for 20+ yrs and have done many restoration and race/tuning projects with that marque and finally stumbled into my first porsche restoration project. It came as a collection of someone else's idea of an "interesting" conversion. Slant nose body work, wrong vintage engine, etc. The good part of the find is that it's a '74 euro carrera as confirmed by another pelican and it's a non-sunroof car. I'm not sure the final direction of the project as it's still evolving. I am leaning towards an RS or RSR clone since it would be period correct... That said, everything that's not correct for a clone will be going bye bye to fund the project. Looking forward to learning here as well as contributing. --Toddhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1270391579.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1270391638.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1270391708.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1270391775.jpg |
