Setting for Max Rear Camber
 

I'm reassembling my spring plates after installing Elephant Racing polybronze bearings, new torsion bars, etc. I would like to set the camber eccentrics to approximately the maximum negative camber setting as a starting point. Hopefully this will make the alignment a little faster. Does anyone know what orientation of the eccentric gives the maximum setting?

You want the trailing arm to "lean back" as far as possible.

That means the part of the trailing arm nearest to the front of the car, where the adjusters are, needs to be as high as possible on the spring plate.

This also means the trailing arm bolts on the top will be toward the rear of the car and the lower bolts will be toward the front of the car.

Thanks. This helped a lot. After playing with the camber eccentric for a while, I realized something else. The camber eccentric just pushes the trailing arm around (up or down as you say) with respect to the spring plate. If you go too far in one direction, you have to turn the eccentric around the other way to push it back. It's like having a huge amount of backlash. This is probably obvious to all the experts, but it it explains why I've been frustrated in the past trying to make very fine adjustments with the eccentric.
