Mixing Synthetics

Can you mix synthetic oils? I know some normal oils react poorly to each other (foaming), or so I have heard. Does this happen with synthetic?

Yeah , no problem...you can never get all oil out of the engine enyway. Just don't mix synthetic with minerals.

on the contrary, you can mix synthetics with minerals. it is called a blend and is perfectly fine.

Daryl, you must have read my mind, cause I was thinking this would have ended up being a problem with anyone trying to go from mineral to synthetic considering how much oil is still left in the oil cooler and associated lines after you drain the sump and tank.
