Wink few pictures of my car...

... on a famous French track: Monthléry. It was really great to run on it, where a lot of legend drivers did (Fangio, Trintignant, etc).

This track was supposed to close, because of lack of security, but it's too symbolistic to desapear...

This week end will occur the "AGE d'OR" (I suppose you can translate it as "golden time"), with vintage races, and more than 2,500 vintage cars on the ring center... I'll be there !

Fantastic shot of the old banking, Olivier!
Did you get your SC up to top speed??

well, Doug, in fact the straight line is not long enough to reach more than 180/190 km/h (GT2 were about 220 km/h), but the parabolic curve is really impressive, especially when you're on the top!

By the way, my car is NOT a SC, but a true '76 Carrera 3.0 !

Sorry about the misunderstanding, Olivier. Nice car, but disqualifies you from membership in the SC World Domination Plot

The banking looks *very* rough. Can you tell us exactly how old Monthléry is?

Cool

I'm so sorry not to belong to the SC gang, but really enjoy to be one of the "happy few" (about 3,500) Carrera 3.0 owners !

In fact, Monthlery was build in 1924 for the ring, and 1925 for the road track and is near from Paris. it lengths 2,548 m (ring) and 6,500 m (road track). Since the 60's, it is essentially used for vintage races (Such as "Le Tour Auto") or clubs...

my car is a french LHD '76 Carrera 3.0, released in November '75 by the french importator Sonauto...

I belong to a Porsche Club, that's why I was allowed to run on this track...

Thanks for your congratulations... It's a pleasure for me to communicate overseas
