Super Turbo!!!!!
I just had to laugh when I pulled this muffler off of my '75. It's a Super Turbo!
Not sure how many extra horses the Super Turbo gave me over stock (decibels are another matter, probably a good 5 - 7x gain). Anyhow it was on a 2.2 if anyone wants something that sounds really loud and mean. For my ears, the stock Bischoff that's "new to me" is a lot better. And the neighbors probably agree! ![]()

Turbo mufflers have been around for a hell of a long time as I had them on my old 72 capri back in the early 80's.

Ha! I put a Super Turbo on my first new car - a '93 Toyota Pickup!

Well, I posted this as a bit of a joke, given the quality options regarding exhaust systems you'd expect to find on a P-car. A quick search of Google turned up some interesting discussions of how folks thought the Super Turbo wasn't LOUD ENOUGH!
Well, it was loud enough for me and then some. Like a Harley in a hailstorm. Regardless, I'm really happy with the stock exhaust, but i do sense a bit of loss of power. After all, who needs a turbo when you have a Super Turbo! LOL! ![]()
