Kenneth's body treatment

Looks like young Kenneth has bumpers and rear spoiler from a 964? How difficult is the swap to an SC? Is it pricey?

Kenneth, did you do that yourself too?

Thanks

Yup, I did all if it my self except fot the paint. I decided I wanted to shave some weight off the the car and still make it look good, so I decided to updated the body with 964 fiberglass bumpers and side skirts. When I got the stuff I prefit everything and then sanded, blocked and primed it. Then had it painted to match. And all I can say is that it looks great and saved 118Lbs of weight on the corners. I then bought a 964 tail for 500smackers and had it painted to match, you need to bend the original hinges a bit to make the new tail bolt up, and a little shaving of the brackets but it all fit up like a glove and then I used Brainiacs wireing digram to wire up the tail motor and poof just like magic it goes up and down at the touch of a button.

Now just to let you know! I had never done any wiring before so I was intimadated, but everything was so easy and straight forward it woked for me. You just have to have patience. Now I do also have the Mille Migllia dual in dual out muffler which sounds sweet not too loud and not too quiet just right. I will have pics scanned soon.
If you have any more questions let me know.

So is there a 964 bumper and side skirt kit? Where is it available?

Also, how does this differ from a RUF bumper kit? Anyone have photos?

Thanks

Kevin,
What company did you buy it from? And what does the back side look like as far as clips and pins go? E-mail me and I will tell you more on how to do it once I know what yours looks like! Talk to you soon, Kenneth
