H5 headlite pin detail help

Purchased my first Porsche that is definately a project. Headlite wiring has wacked and butt connected back together. Would like to know which pins are what on an H5 bulb so I can properly fix the wiring. I did a search but only found an H4 diagram. The car is an 1985 Carrera Cabriolet. Thanks in advance for the help, Mike.

The car has H5's now? Or you want to add them?

Your '85 did not come from the factory with H5's, but either sealed beams (US cars) or H4's (RoW).

It has a widebody kit added and uses alot of 964/993 parts. When I purchased it, it came with H5's. It's gettting hi and lo beam at the same time and it may be the switch, but I want to check the headlight wiring and make it correct before I reinstall the headlites. Thanks, Mike.

under the hood you should find yellow, blue, yellow w/white, blue / white ....

those are the feeds off of your fuse box that go to the front high left, low left , high right , low right .... ifn that order i think ( if not reverse) .... pull your lamp and check the rear at the socket to ensure its not melted .... then check thru with a testor for crosses at the fuse box ......... but i am almost sure if your plugs at the lamp are not melted is your colum switch .... there are many threads on rebuilding your switch and or cleaning it ......................
