Parking brake warning light not working

Hi guys. I am the new owner of an '82 911SC. The parking brake warning light isn't working. As shown in the attached pic, the seat belt warning is obviously disconnected, and there is an unconnected brown (ground) wire. Anyone know if that brown wire has to do with the parking brake light? Thanks

As you probably know "brown" wires are usually ground wires. I can't help you beyond that, sorry. What I tell you is go on line with our host and buy a Bentley's manual. You'll want it for a lot of reasons, one being that it has the wiring diagram for your car in the back of the manual. With a little time it's understandable to a lay person like myself. Anyway it's a good start to solving your problem.
