part number help please! 84-89 plastic horn tab mount?

Hi Guys,

I've searched high and low on this forum and the parts section without luck, when you pull the horn pad off it mounts onto 3 plastic things that have contacts in them, one of mine broke, it's the late model wheel with the rectangle horn pad.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Man, I just had the steering wheel off 2 days ago...doesn't the part have a number on it?

If nobody chimes in, can you take a picture of the part and post it?

Hey Mate,

Thanks for the reply, the car is at my office, I'll go grab the part today and see. It's a small tubular plastic tab thing.

321 419 779 A is the part number. Looks like $4.50 from our host.

Ask and ye shall receive:

Pelican Parts - Product Information: 321-419-779-A-OEM

I did the same search last year as I had to replace mine. Doesn't come up immediately in the search for some reason. The part number with the "A" extension was for the later cars (like my 85). So it's 321-419-779-A.

The install is a piece of cake.

Cheers,

Dave
