Rocker rubber part number
 

Can anyone help me to identify a part number for the horizontal rubber strip that is shown in the photo below? '89 Carrera.

I think that I know what it is but hate ordering the wrong parts and having to return them.

I have two perfect used ones off my 87 if you are interested.

Don, I am very interested. I've been following a couple of your threads for a while since you are so nearby. Beautiful car btw. I recently purchased side scripts as well but am thinking I may leave these pieces on the car.

My aunt lives in that part of town so I wouldn't mind coming your direction. Any insight you have as to switching out my weathered/shrunken ones would be greatly appreciated.

I need to change mine out,..one has, seemingly, shrunken over time.

Hope to get up to the "show" one weekend soon.

All you have to do is take the end caps off....slide one out...slide the new one in....might be easier if you take off the rocker cover. Thanks for the compliment on my car.....it will hopefully be buffed out this weekend.
