Console Removal Help

I'm trying to remove my center console, but I can't find any of the three screws. I'm also wondering if my console is stock, or did someone make thier own and put it in the car? Any advice on where to find the screws? The center lifts up some, but I don't think it's suppose to as it looks like it's damaged underneath. Thanks.

I took mine out a couple months ago but of course I forgot how I got it out. There are 3 screws (one below the ebrake handle and two on either side towards the front)? Feel around by running your fingers around those areas, they may be under the carpet.
Do a search - I think that's how I figured it out. Once you find the screws its easy.

I'm doing a new carpet install, so I have JHUBS post of "Interior project on my 87 911" post up for reference. Problem is, his console doesn't quite look like mine. I took the ebrake housing off and pulled the carpet all the way up to see under the console...no screws at all. Very odd.

Solved

Ok...I finally figured it out. Seems like two pieces were held in by friction and a lot of grime. Once you pull them out, you are able to get to the screws that are hiding on the inside. Definately homemade...like so many other things that I am uncovering in my car.
