What's a Fair Price

What do you guys think is a fair price?

GR Auto Gallery

I heard the '87-'89 911s were pretty solid cars, but is there anything in particular I need to look out for? It has 123K+ miles on it. How many more miles will I get out of it before the engine will need a rebuild?

Given the car is in MI and I live in MD, how would I go about doing my due process? Anyone have experience buying a car from a far distance without seeing it or test driving it?

Nice car, but to me way overpriced for a targa. Assuming a good leak down and compression test, that engine is good for another 100K miles.

I found you some. I like them in the order listed and if the first one is truly as represented, it will go fast:

Porsche : 911 SC Coupe 2-Door in Porsche | eBay Motors

Porsche : 911 SC Sunroof Coupe in Porsche | eBay Motors

Just coincidence that they are both red! Here's the whole listing from ebay:

Porsche 911 | eBay

Best place for this question is Pelican "Market Place Discussion". I hope you won't take this in a negative manner, because it is not meant to be, but if you can't afford the time or money to go see the car in person, you can't afford the time or money that a bad car will cost. Wait until a local car shows up.

I like it...the prices are very subjective...each car unique in history etc...major issue is the engine health...you need compression and leak down numbers to evaluate this and even then there can be missed issues...can you talk to the shop that has done recent maintenance? They are all a bit of a crap shoot but once you have a healthy car they are very reliable IMO. Good luck

Edit it looks like the front seat leather doesn't match...just saying
