1981 porsche 911 streering wheel pad removal. How?
How do I take the steering wheel pad off? Need to replace windshield wiper switch.

Hope ya gotta big socket......when loosening the nut, don't let the wheel rest on the steering lock or with the wheels all the way to the left. Have someone hold onto the wheel while you do the honors.
Also consider replacing the bushing while you are in there. Wiggle the wheel up and done....if it's solid no need.

Work the horn button off corner by corner. Just pops off pretty easy.
27mm socket i think for the hub? A Club or similar theft bar will help you hold the wheel with the added leverage.
