Help with DME wiring into 78 SC Conversion
Hello,
Long story, but haven't been on the forum for a few years and haven't been able to work on my 78 SC to 964 3.6 conversion for a while, so hoping someone can help me get back into the groove. A few years ago, I was working with the old fuse box to get a better connection with one of the fuses and the plastic holding the contacts just started breaking apart. So I modified the fuse box to add an extension and use new ATO/ATC fuse terminals. ![]() I pulled off all the wires from the old fuse box and labeled them best I could but it's been a couple of years so I can't remember if I labeled the Patrick Motorsports DME conversion wiring harness connection correctly. From these DME wiring harness instructions "At the fuse panel: Connect the yellow wire to a switched 12v . Disconnect the power supply lead to the fuel pump fuse terminal and replace it with the green wire, the green wire will now power the fuel pump terminal. Connect the red lead to a 12v 10 amp power supply, and last connect the black lead to the 12v positive side of the battery terminal with the inline fuse provided," does the green wire from the DME harness get connected to the bottom or the top of the fuel pump fuse (on the 78, the fuel pump fuse is 16)? I assume I connect it into the bottom of the fuse 16, but the wording in Patrick Motorsports instruction is confusing me because the "pwr supply lead to the fuel pump fuse terminal" would be the connection on top of the fuse, wouldn't it? Thanks in advance. |

Any one out there installed a conversion and the DME harness for a 964 motor? I searched the forums and can't find an answer myself, only reason I'm asking. I've also tried calling Patrick Motorsport, haven't be able to connect to someone live.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
