![]() ![]() I need some help ! I have changed the spark plugs on my 1978 911T SC with a 19873.2L twice recently! After i changed them the first time it consistently backfired. Assuming the gap was wrong. I bought new plugs . I carefully installed the new set but it is still backfiring really really bad! Help this beast with her beauty! Thanks , Joy

I would be confirming two things:
1) Correct firing order 2) Ensure that the plug connectors are properly seated on the plugs. Unless the plug gaps are wildly off, that will not cause backfiring.
