Glad you got Damon involved. He's the right guy for this sort of thing! Looks impressive!

Glad to see so much progress #KC-TB-000002, little brother. As long a road as its been for you, I've got you by, what, 8 years (and likely a few $$$ as well!). #KC-TB-000001 re-debuts in NH tomorrow, going down to pick it up this morning.
Didn't see if this got answered but for the record all the welding is tig and as noted, immaculate. It should be pretty obvious that Kenny Conway is fabricating 911s that equal or surpass all but a few out there. Yes, he's my friend after all these years of our association, but truth is the truth and deserves stating. Close up of a somewhat spectacular weld on my rear suspension from a few years back. Few have the patience and talent for such work.

Cuan ST build update
Here are some new photos of Cuans ST build. I promise to post more photos by the end of the week. The shell will be leaving my shop this week and will be heading up north to Series 900. Once there, final bodywork, paint, rust repair, etc. will be completed...

A LOT of nice fabrication into the build so far. I particularly like the rally-stands implementation. The driver is either 8' tall & needing as much headroom as possible or you lowered the seat pan to get the CG as low as possible? Either way, a lot of nice looking work.
Thanks for the pics!

Tall Driver
I'm only 6'5" but for some reason my torso and head (with helmet on) weren't cooperating with the roll cage no matter how tight to the roofline we placed it!

Only 6' 5"? No one that tall was ever meant to drive a 911. Regardless, great to see that the end is in sight, kinda. We're still sorting my car out after paint last year. Once its back together than the work really begins. Definitely have to do an event or two together this year so we can compare notes. Looking good!

Thanks Shaun,
I do all the welding/fab work.....Actually I do everything here! I've been a one man shop for 7 years now. My website is still "under construction", so here is a photo link to other cars i've built. Flickr: red911sc83's Photostream Thanks, Kenny |
